On the 24th of April 2015 Sunnybrae school had our ANZAC parade. All the classes made ANZAC related items to take for the parade.The Year 6’s lead us to where we had to sit. We sang the New Zealand National Anthem at the beginning of the parade. We had a guest speaker and her name was Juliana Austen. After hearing what she had to say we heard the Senior children’s poems about the ANZACs. After that we heard a bugle call then the classes one by one started to walk out to the field of remembrance. We laid down our wreaths that Room 11 made in front of the white crosses fixed into the ground.
